Several tugs built for the Soviet Union in the Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper De Gooi- en Eemlander dated 15 August 1935

An item reported that the fifth and last tug Minsk built for Russian account by Verschure&Co.’s Scheepswerf, Amsterdam, Netherlands was that morning at 08.00 o’clock launched. The third tug of the five named Tiflis was completed and to depart within some days towards Russia. Her crew already arrived. The fourth the Kiev [Kiev] was to be delivered within some weeks.
