American whale ship Newton visited Honolulu, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 4 January 1845

An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 1 January of the American whale ship Newton of New Bedford, USA while her crew refused to continue the voyage. She lost her captain.(1)
