American whaling ship Braganza visited Lahaina, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 1 February 1845

An item reported the arrival at Lahaina, Hawaii on 28 January of the American whaling ship Braganza captain Waterman of New Bedford, USA 17 months out 2,200 barrels whale oil 600 barrels sperm oil, departed towards Honolu on 29 January.(1)

1. Whalemen’s Shipping List dated 28 May 1844. Tonnage 470 tons, agent Pope&Morgan, departed on 1 August 1843 to the Pacific and north west coast.
