Catch results of the Dutch Greenland commandeur Huyg van Bockum according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 6 July 1747

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 5 July reported that according to a list the catch results of the Dutch Greenland commandeur H. van Bockum were 5 whales. Auke Harmsz who brought the list with him left on 19 June Greenland.(1)

1. Huyg van Bockum, Greenland commandeur between 1746-1753 got Cornelis Bax, Dordrecht, Netherlands 7 whales 270 barrels blubber 330 quardelen oil.
