The Yugoslavian destroyers T 1 and T 5 according to a CIA report dated 14 January 1947

An item reported that the Yugoslavian navy possessed the in 1915 commissioned two small destroyers T. 1 (1) and T.5 (2) with a displacement of 260 tons, a length of 58 metres and a speed of 18 knots. Armament consisted of 2-5,7cm guns, 1-2cm machinegun and 4-45cm torpedo tubes. On the moment patrolling between Zara and Sebenice.

Notes

1. Still in service according to Jane’s Fighting Ships 1959-1959. Called then a patrol vessel, was the former Austrian torpedo boat Golesnica pennant 91 ex T1 and T-76. Built by Stab, Technico, Trieste in 1913. One funnel. Displacement 262 tons and as dimensions 188 1/3 x 18 2/3 x 5 feet. An armament of 2-6.6cm guns, 1 machine gun (the Golesnica 1 2cm quad 1x2-2cm) and 4paired 18” torpedotubes for the Cer none for the Golesnica. The turbines and 2 Yarriow boilers supplied via 2 shafts 5.000 hp allowing a speed of 20 knots. Bunker capaciy of 18-20 tons coal and 24-34 tons fuel oil. Crew numbered 52 men.

2. Still in service according to Jane’s Fighting Ships 1959-1959. Called then a patrol vessel, was the former Austrian torpedo boat Cer pennant 92 ex T 85 and T.87.

Built by Granz-Danubius Co., Porto Ré, Fiume in 1913. Two funnel. Displacement 266 tons. Appearance similar to the Golesnica inclusive most of the technical dimensions.
