Laid down on 24 January 1908, launched on 5 February 1909, completed on 25 May 1909, chartered by the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1937 to be used as troop transport in the war with China, returned to her owners in 1939, requisitioned by the Imperial Japanese Army as a troop transport and destroyed by the American submarine USS Hake on 1 February 1944 near Halmahera, Dutch East Indies.
