Laid down on 11 October 1930, launched on 30 August 1931, completed on 2 December 1931, requisitioned by the Japanese Imperial Navy on 16 November 1941, used as troop transport, converted at the Mitsubushi Heavy Industries K.K. Nagasaki Shipyard for military purposes which was completed on 8 December 1941, registered as auxiliary collier annex oiler on 10 December 1941, sunk by American aircraft 2 miles north east of Cape St. Jacques lighthouse, Indochina and stricken fom the navy list on 10 June 1944.
