Egan on the Waal off Beuningen, Netherlands on 5 September 1912, salvaged by Firma Van den Tak, Rotterdam, Netherlands and towed to the naval yard at Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands on 14 January 1913 and sold there according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 3 July on 2 July for ƒ 10.848,50 to the N.V. Frank Rijsdijk’s Scheepsslooperij at Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands. Building costs 187.000,00 and costs first time fitted out ƒ 252.000,00.
