Laid down by Bacini e Scali Napoletani, Naples, Italy on 24 May 1933. Launched on 11 March 1934. Commissioned on 30 May 1935. Sold to Sweden in March 1940 and renamed Romulus. Stricken on 27 March 1940. In Swedish service in early 1950s converted into a fast anti submarine frigate (27). Of the Spica-class, preceded by Curtatone-class, succeeded by Ariete-class. Displacement 630 (standard)-901 (full load) tons and as dimensions 80.35 x 8.20 x 2.26-2.82 metres. Crew numbered 99 men. Fuel bunker capacity 185 ton. Speed 34 knots. 2 Tosi turbines and 2 Yarrow type boilers supplying 19.000 hp. Range 1.728 nautical miles/16 knots and 620 nautical miles/30 knots. Armament included 4x1-45cm/18” torpedo guns, 3x1-10cm/3.9” 47 cal guns, 2x2-4cm cal 39 guns, 2x2-13.2mm/0.5”guns and mines.
