Austrian aircraft attacking Japanese ships off Amboina, Dutch East Indies according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee Daily summary dated 15 May 1942

An item reported that Australian aircraft attacked on 12 May Japanese ships gathered off Amboina, Dutch East Indies sinking a 3.000 tons measuring vessel and directly hitting two ther. A 5.000 ton ship was nearly missed and along the waterfront broke fire out.
