British cruiser HMS Adventure visited the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper De Sumatra Post dated 14 April 1938

An item dated Batavia, Dutch East Indies 14^th reported the departure of the British cruiser HMS Adventure that afternoon from Tandjong Priok, Dutch East Indies towards Singapore.(1)

1. Mine laying cruiser, ordered on 18 July 1921, laid down by Vickers Limited, Barrow-in-Furness&Devonport Royal Dockyard, England on 29 November 1922, launched on 2 18 June 1924, commissioned on 2 October 1926, landing craft repair and accommodation ship since 1944 and sold to be broken up in 1947.
