Whaling barque Mary Frazer visited Port Russell, New Zealand according to the New Zealand newspaper New Zealand Herald dated 15 June 1874

A watercolour by British artist Sir Oswald Brierly. The painting dates from around 1876.
An item reported the hailing of the whaling barque Mary Frazer on the bank for repairs.
