Dutch destroyer Hr.Ms. Vos executed with success her trials according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch nieuwsblad dated 10 January 1914

In the roads of Bawean, Java, Dutch East Indies between 1922-1924

An item reported that the Dutch destroyer Hr.Ms. Vos (1) executed in the roads of Vlissingen, Netherlands her full power trial achieving a maximum speed of 30 miles which was above her contracted speed. She was now departed to Rotterdam to be completed there at the shipyard of Fijenoord.(1)

Note

Of the Wolf or Roofdier-class, built by Fijenoord, Rotterdam, Netherlands with using a British Yarrow&Co. design. Built under budget 1911, laid down on 17 September 1912, launched on 28 June1 1913, commissioned on 23 February 1913, stricken in 1928 and used as target. The newspaper Het Vaderland dated 3 March 1914 reported that she was docked on 2 March in the old dry dock at the naval shipyard at Willemsoord, Netherlands. Her commanding officer was lieutenant 1st class F.H.A. Greve. The edition dated 26 February reported that she was commissioned on 23 Feburary at Rotterdam and Wednesday afternoon arrived in the Nieuwediep to be fitted out for her voyage towards the Dutch East Indies.
