Japan still did not obtain sufficient quantities of oil out of the Dutch East Indies according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 30 March 1942

An item reported that apparently the Japanese forces yet did not procure oil in quantity out of the Dutch East Indies regarded the continued transport by ships from fuels especially 87 octane aviation gas out of Japan to the south.
