Several German whalers and sealers bound for Greenland according to the Dutch newspaper Bataafsche Leeuwarder courant dated 30 March 1805

An item reported that in the spring several ships were to be sent for whale and seal hunting off Greenland namely 8 from Hamburg, 9 of Altona and 13 of Gluckstadt.
