Austro-Hungarian Danube flotilla sweeping mines on Lower Danube according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 22 March 1918

An item dated Vienna, Austria dated 21 March referred to the Neue Freie Presse reporting that according to tidings the Lower Danube as far as Sulina, Romania since two days was mine swept by the Austro-Hungarian Danube flotilla. The waterway leading to Ukraine became again available for merchant shipping.
