Austro-Hungarian Danube flotilla attacking Romanian harbours according to the Dutch newspaper Limburger koerier dated 1 September 1916

An item reported actions of the Austrian Danube flotilla including destroying Romanian towing barges, harbour warehouses and military establishments at Turnu Maguralo [Turnu Măgurele] and capturing at Zimnicea [Romania on left bank Danube] 2 full loaded tugs, a barge and 2 motorboats. The edition dated 30 August reported that the Austrian monitor Alnos shelled and destroyed the military establishments at Durma Severin [Turmu Severin], Romania.
