An item reported that the British heavy cruiser HMS Hawkins would probably leave Wei-hai-Wei around 29 September towards Hangkau, to stay in Yangtse and then leaving end October to Hong Kong arriving there end November.(1)

1. D 86. Of the Hawkins-class heavy cruisers, succeeded by County class. Building ordered in December 1915, laid down by Chatham Dockyard on 3 June 1916, launched on 1 October 1917, commissioned on 23 July 1919, decommissioned in May 1945 and sold to be broken up on 26 August 1947.
