German auxiliary aircraft carrier Hansa type in or after 1942

Dimensions 129.0 (between perpendiculars)-136.50 (over all) x 17.40 (waterline)-24.00 (before island)-27.00 (over flight deck) x 15.00 (height side) x 7.50 (construction draught) metres and 9.000 tons (construction). Fitted out with an expansion steam engine or turbine with one shaft, 4.500hp and speed of 13 knots (construction). Armament 4-5cm/2.0” Flak 41 M and 3x4-2cm Flak 38. Carried 4 Junker Ju 87D dive-bombers and 3 Messerschmitt Me-155 day fighters. The cargo version Type C had as dimensions 134.00 (over all) x 17.37 x 11.20 (side height) x 7.50 metres, 5.300 gross register tonnage and 9.000 tons load capacity. Machinery consisted of a Lentz double compound steam engine delivering with a exhaust turbine and 3 water tube boilers 3.000hp and 11.5 knots speed.
