Dutch Greenland commandeur Pieter Doorn returned home according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 22 October 1748

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 21 October reported the arrival on 19 October of the Dutch Greenland commandeur Pieter Doorn 4.5 whale 160 quardelen, underway in the Bogt van Tronthem heavily damaged in a heavy storm loosing 5 of her boats.(1)
