French sloop Antarès visiting coastline harbours between USA and Venezuela according to the Weekly Intelligence Summary Nr. 8 dated 28 August 1920

An item reported that the French sloop Antarès would leave France in September bound for the West Indies and visiting the American coastlines between Charleston and the mouth of the Orinoco river, Venezuela.(1)

Note

1. Of the Aldébaran-1st class avisos. Laid down with yard number 321 by Hamilton, Glasgow, Scotland in March 1916, launched on  4 September 1916, completed in October 1916 and stricken in 1936.
