An item reported that the British cruiser HMS Colombo would probably leave Wei-hai-Wei around 29 September towards Japan and Korea, returning at Shanghai, China on 30 October.(1)

1. Part of the C-class light cruisers Carlisle sub-class, preceded by Arethusa-class, succeeded by Danae-class. Laid down by Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Glasgow, Scotland on 8 December 1917, launched on 18 December 1918, commissioned on 18 June 1919, converted into an anti aircraft cruiser between June 1942-March 1943 and sold to be broken up on 22 January 1948.
