C-class light cruisers, Caroline-subclass included the Carysfort, Castor and Cleopatra
An item reported that the British squadron in the Baltic consisted of the light cruisers HMS Caledon (flagship S.N.O.), Castor, Carysfort, destroyers Valhalla, Vimiera, Vanquisher, Wessex and the trawler Frederick Bush. Temporarily were to the squadron added the light cruisers HMS Dragon, Cleopatra and the destroyers Valorous, Venturous, Viceroy and Whitley. Waiting for new orders three of the cruisers were stationed at Danzig due to the situation there. The S.N.O. received orders to support the High Commissioner at Danzig with all means to make the unloading of ammunition for Poland possible just as the Allied Powers wanted. The newest received tidings reported that the situation was improved.
