British destroyer HMS Shakespeare temporarily retained at Libau [Liepaja, Latvia] according to the Secret Admiralty Weekly Intelligence Summary No. 2 dated 17 July 1920

An item reported that the Commander in Chief Atlantic Fleet informed the S.N.O. Baltic that HMS Shakespeare could be retained until arrangements were completed for disposing the coal store positioned on the shore at Libau [Liepaja, Latvia].(1)

Note

1. Thornycroft type destroyer leader, preceded by Admiralty V-class leader, succeeded by Admiralty type leader, ordered in April 1916, laid down by John I. Thornycroft&Company on 2 October 1916, launched on 7 July 1917, commissioned on 10 October 1917 and sold to be broken up on 19 August 1936.
