USA-flagged, IMO 8906614, MMSI 367863000 and call sign NPCZ. T-AO-201. Henry J. Kaiser-class underway replenishment oiler, preceded by Cimarron-class, succeeded by John Lewis-class. Building ordered on 24 March 1989, laid down by Avondale Shipping Inc., New Orleans, USA on 16 October 1991, launched on 23 July 1994 and commissioned on 21 June 1995. Deadweight 31,200 tons, displacement 9,500 (light)-43,000 (full load) tons and as dimensions 206 x 29,69 x 11 metres or 677 x 97.5 x 35 feet. Horsepower 2x34,442 ship allowing a speed of 20 knots. Fitted out with 1 helicopter platform. Five refuelling stations and 2 dry cargo transfer rigs, fuel oil and jet fuel capacity 25,000m3/159,000 barrels, 690m2/7,400 square feet dry cargo space, 8-6,1m/20 foot refrigerated containers for storage of 128 pallets. Crew numbers 103 men.
