British battleship HMS Iron Duke bound for Malta according to the Weekly Intelligence Summary No. 2 dated 15 January 1921



An item reported that the British battleship HMS Iron Duke would depart from Malta on 21 February destined for Portsmouth, England where she was to be recommissioned and to return at Malta on around 21 March.(1)

Note

1. Part of Iron Duke-class battleships, preceded by King George V-class, succeeded by Queen Elizabeth-class, laid down by Portsmouth Dockyard on 12 January 1971, launched on 12 October 1912, commissioned in March 1914 and broken up since 30 November 1948 at Glasgow, Scotland.
