An item reported the departure of British sloop HMS Chrysantemum on 6 December from Devonport, England towards Malta.(1)

Note

1. Anchusa-class sloop preceded by Cadmus-class succeeded by Kil-class. Launched by Armstrong Whitworth on 10 November 1917, commissioned in 1917, decommissioned in 1988 and broken up in 1995. Sister ship was the Saxifrage renamed HMS President in 1922.
