Whaling barque Flying Childers visited Hobart Town, Tasmania according to the The Hobart Town Advertiser dated 14 January 1865

An item reported that on 9 January at Hobart Town, Tasmania the barque Flying Childers 230 tons master McGregor was cleared out for the whaling grounds. She departed a day later.
