American merchant cargo ship design C1-M-AV1 in 1946

Full scantling. Dimensions 338.8 (over all) x 50.0 (molded) x 29.0 (molded depth) x 21.0 (load draught molded) feet, deadweight 5,100 tons, gross tonnage 3,800 tons , net tonnage 2,100 tons, bale capacity 228,000 cubic feet and net refrigerated cubic capacity 9,800. The diesel propulsion supplied 1,700 shp normal power allowing a speed of 10,5 knots. Prewar domestic cost  1,280.000 US dollars, domestic war cost 1,982,464 US dollars, unadjusted statutory sales price 640,000 US dollars and floor price 693,872 US dollars. Prize inapplicable while under the terms of the Ship Sales Act 1946 dry cargo vessels excluded Liberty ships were not to be sold at less than 35% of the domestic war cost.
