American merchant cargo ship design N3-S-A1 in 1946

Full scantling. Dimensions 258.9 (over all) x 42.1 (molded) x 20.5 (molded depth) x 17.11¼ (load draught molded) feet, deadweight 2,900 tons, gross tonnage 1,790 tons , net tonnage 1,020 tons and bale capacity 1,300 cubic feet. The reciprocating steam and coal-fuelled boilers propulsion located amidships supplied via a single screw shp normal allowing a speed of 10 knots. Prewar domestic cost 700,000 US dollars, domestic war cost 1,339,477 US dollars, unadjusted statutory sales price 380,000 US dollars (price inapplicable while under the terms of the Ship Sales Act of 1946 none dry cargo vessel excluded the Liberty types was to be sold for less than 35% of the domestic war cost) and floor price 468,817 US dollars.
