American merchant tanker design T1-M-BT2 in 1946

Steel built. Capacity 31,000 barrels. Steel built with raked stem and cruiser stern. The diesel propelling propulsion is located aft and drives a single screw with normal horsepower of 1,400 shp allowing a speed of 10 knots. Dimensions 325.4 (over all) x 48.2 (molded) x 21.9 (molded depth) x 19.0 (load draught molded) feet, deadweight 4,189 ton , gross tonnage 3,260 tons, net tonnage 1,680 tons. Prewar domestic cost 994,000 US dollars, domestic war cost 1,774,638 US dollars, unadjusted statutory sales price 869,750 US dollars and floor price US 887,019 dollars.
