An item reported that the Russian Black Sea fleet was hopefully reorganized by August 1922 although with just 50% of her strength in 1917. Her task was to keep Romania under control by practically blockading this country. Former captain Sablin (1) would become in the future her commander in chief.
Note
1. Mikhail Pavlovich Sablin (18 June 1869-17 October 1920), commanded the Black Sea Fleet in begun 1918 and raised the colours of the Ukrainian National Republic on 29 April 1918, later commanded he the naval forces of the White Movement. The former captain referred to was probably his brother Nikolai Pavlovich Sablin (16 April 1990-21 August 1937), serving in the navy between 1898-1917 ending his career as Captain 1st Rank.
