Russian whaling fleet underway towards Antarctic according to the Australian newspaper Tweed Daily dated Tuesday 21 October 1948

An item dated Moscow 20^th reported the departure a day earlier from Odessa, Ukraine of a Russian whaling fleet numbering 12 vessels bound for the Antarctic.
