Dutch crude oil motor tanker Tembusu 1939-1942

Flush-deck. Built in 1939 and delivered by the Taikoo Dockyard&Engineering Co. Ltd, Hong Kong, Hong Kong in July 1939 to the N.V. De Bataafsche Petroleum Maatschappij, Batavia, Netherlands. Call sign PKLQ. Gross tonnage 344 tons, net tonnage 160/178 tons, deadweight 391 tons and as dimensions 41.65 x 8.94 x 2.75 metres or 136 (waterline) x 29 x 8.5 feet. Diesel engines supplying at 330 rpm 170bhp/140nhp. Cruising speed 8.5 knots. Scuttled at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies on 2 March 1942.
