Japan stationing flying boats and bombers at Wotje, Marshall Islands according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 8 March 1942

An item reported that the Japanese stationed 2 air groups with total 20-24 flying boats and a air group of bombers at Wotje, Marshall Islands. The J.I.C. commented that these flying boats supported by submarines were able to attack the Hawaiian Islands.
