An item reported that in the night of 16-17 a ship of a convoy was torpedoed south of Guantanamo, Bay.(1) In the currenth month were in the Florida Strait-Caribbean area 6 convoys attacked of which 9 ships were torpedoes. It seemes that were none successfull attacks against the submarines.

1. The next day was reported that not one but three ships were torpedoed.
