Designed by the Marinetechnische Komitee (MTK). Displacement 2,000 (construction)-2,350 (maximum) tons and as dimensions 124 x 10 x 3.30-2.60 metres. Armament consisted of 4x1-15cm/5.9” guns, 4x1-7cm/2.76” L/50 anti balloon guns, 2-8mm machine guns and 3x2-53.34cm/21” torpedo tubes. Propulsion consisted of 6 water tube boilers and 2 turbines delivering 43,000 hp allowing a speed of 34 (full load displacement)-37 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles/16 knots.
