Catch results of German Greenland whalers very worse according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamse courant dated 20 August 1695

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 19th referred to a letter of Hamburg, Germany dated 16th reporting that one of their Greenland whalers with a catch of one whale was captured by the French before the Elbe to be released for 6.000 guilders. The catch results with by 20 whalers of 9 whales and others more worse and 3 whalers of Bremen, Germany even with without any catch
