Japan since 7 May 1937, requisitioned by the Imperial Japanese Navy between 10 April-28 September 1938 and between 19 October 1938-1 January 1939, purchased by the Yokosuka Naval District on 26 May 1940, became an auxiliary store ship and sunk by the American submarine USS Tambor (SS-98) 50 miles south east of Kavieng, New Ireland [Papua New Guinea] on 17 April 1942.
