An item referred to the cutter Planet of Sydney which reported to have spoken on 8 January the American whaling barque Gipsy master Morton of New Bedford which caught on her voyage from Honolulu, Hawaii 60 barrels sperm oil and now planned to cruise for some time of the Snares.
