Gross tonnage 9,800 tons and as dimensions 475.7 x 63.9 x 40.7 x 13 (light)-29 (loaded feet. Diesel propulsion with 1,646 nhp/9,600 bhp horsepower a speed of 17 (normal cruising)-20 (maximum) knots and with a fuel oil bunker capacity included deep tanks of 3,163 tons a range of 38,000 miles/17 knots.
