France-flagged, homeport Tahiti, French Polynesia. Part of Floréal-class frigates preceded by D’Estienne d’Orves-class succeeded by La Fayette-class and the 2030 planned European Patrol Corvette. Building ordered on 20 January 1989, laid down by Chantiers de l’Atlantique on 11 September 1990, launched on 16 March 1991 and commissioned on 20 May 1992.
