Lithgows Ltd., Port Glasgow, Scotland with yard number 724 in 1919, for account of the The Shipping Controller, London, United Kingdom, launched on 20 May 1920, sold to D/S A/S Aker (Fearnley&Eger, Olso, Norway and completed as the dry cargo ship Bogstad, requisitioned by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1941 and torpedoed/sunk by the American submarine USS Tuna (SS-203) offf Wake Island on March 1943. Gross tonnage 4,697 tons, under deck 4,295 tons, net tonnage 2,894 tons, deadweight 8,000 tons and as dimensions 384.2 x 52.0 x 26.7 x 25 (loaded) feet. Reciprocating 543 nhp propulsion, one scew and a speed of 9 (normal cruising)-10 (maximum) knots.
