Japanese halibut fishery in the Bering Sea according to the Commercial Fisheries Review dated August 1964 No. 8

An item reported that the Japanese 700 ton mothership Fuji Maru No. 3 which was specially chartered to fish for halibut in the Area 3B North Triangle (the Bering Sea) was scheduled to return at Tokyo, Japan on 23 May 1964. She caught totally 350 metric tons fish of whicj 100 ton halibut and black cod and 250 ton mainly rockfish.
