American whaler Junior arrived at Mongonui, New Zealand according to the Australian newspaper The Sydney Morning Herald dated 13 February 1860

An item dated Mongonui, New Zealand 23 January reported that the American whaler Junior ship 377 tons master Rowley of New Bedford 12.5 months out with 400 barrels whale oil 3,800 lbs bone arrived on 13 December 1860 and departed on 20 December.
