Japanese companies exporting frozen mackerel to East European countres according to the Commercial Fisheries Review dated January 1965 No. 1

An item reported the active participation of Japanese trading companies in the export of frozen mackerel to Romania and other east European countries. One company at Tokyo signed a long term contract for shipping monthly 750 metric tons East China mackerel to Romania and another firm 720 metric tons, both against 286 US dollars/metric ton c.i.f. Romania.
