An item reported that on 8 September the American whaling barque Ann Steen of Sag Harbor 750 barrels whale oil 8,000 lbs bone arrived at San Francisco coming from the North West coast forced to enter by scurvy among the crew. She would probably unload her oil and bone at San Francisco.
