American whaling barque Black Eagle visited Honolulu, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 2 October 1852

An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 30 September of the American whaling barque Black Eagle master Ludlow of Sag Harbor from the Arctic leaving the straits on 27 August 14 months out 2,800 barrels whale oil. She was three days in the Artic without seeing ice and several ships in sight.
