Australian whaling barque Tamar visited Bay of Islands, New Zealand in 1836

A list reported the arrival at Bay of Islands on 21 December 1836 of the Australian whaling barque Tamar, master Clapham, tonnage 197 tons, homeport New South Wales returning from the sperm oil fishery with a cargo of 850 barrels oil.
