British light cruiser HMS Danae returned home according to the Weekly Intelligence Summary No. 19 for the week ending 20 August 1921

Danae or D-class

An item reported that on 17 August the British light cruiser HMS Danae (1) arrived at Sheerness, England returning from Cuxhaven, Germany.

Note

1. Part of Danae or D-class light cruisers, preceded by C-class, succeeded by Emerald-class. Laid down by Armstrong Whitworth on 1 December 1916, launched on 26 January 1918, commissioned on 22 July 1918, decommissioned on 4 October 1944, handed over to the Polish navy and renamed ORP Conrad on 4 October 1944, decommissioned and recommissioned in British Royal Navy on 28 September 1946, decommissioned on 22 January 1948, sold on 22 January 1948 and on 27 March started her breaking up.
